The Intersection of Photography and Sculpture. How does photography transform and affect our encounters with Sculptures? A look at the ways in which photography informs and challenges our understanding of sculpture. Transforming iconic, modern, and classic sculptures through photography is the concept of my "Re-Inventing the Romans" gallery. Photography is used to recreate and interpret these objects; introducing new texture, color, crop, focus, lighting, manipulation and post editing techniques, and perhaps most importantly, perspective. To "re-Invent" the Romans and other sculptures into stunning photographic visual art pieces.
