Revisiting and leaving comments on artworks I have favorited. Love the light and composition of this beautiful painted pony on this carousel! This carousel horse takes the spotlight front and center as it seems to come at the viewer with it's wild mane flying with the wind and front legs extended in full 'gallop' . The soft diffuse light illuminates the carousel quite nicely and gives it a look and feel of a fond memory of the amusement ride.

Ooops I just saw the description.. I just don't recall a Lloof horse looking like this, the neck and mane remind me of an Illions the mane would have originally been painted gold. I love carousels!

Lovely capture, where is this captured? I do not recall Lloof carousel horses having a mane like that one in the front. It reminds me of an Illions pony. Is this a mixed menagerie carousel? I would love to know more about it.
