The old Kingston Flour Mill sits quietly on the Millstone River which is part of Lake Carnegie. The town of Kingston borders the town of Princeton. It is located in Central New Jersey.
The Kingston Mill House is a colonial-era mill in Kingston. It was was burned by the British during the Revolutionary War. Jacob Skillman built a new mill near the site in 1755, which later passed to the Gulick Family. In 1870, Charles B. Robison purchased the mill. He enlarged it, and installed modern machinery in 1885. The mill burned in 1888, and was rebuilt by Nelson Thompson and operated as a gristmill until the mid-1900s. The Kingston Mill is in the D&R State Park and is part of the Kingston Mill Historic District on the National Register of Historic Places.
