Albatross - Fine Art Photograph by Colleen Kammerer
~~
The beauty of Ocean Grove has captured the imagination of Hollywood. The town has inspired several productions and has appeared in several films including Woody Allen’s “Stardust Memories” (1980) and “According to Greta” (filmed in 2007).
Most recently, HBO's crew from "Boardwalk Empire" used Ocean Grove's Albatross Hotel as inspiration for season 4 scene. "They thought that the Albatross looked like a 1924 seaside hotel." With some modifications they re-created the Albatross for Atlantic City.
An Albatross is large white bird with long, strong wings that lives near the sea.
